Washington, DC – Secondary Life Capital
announced the grand opening of the company’s new Washington, DC
corporate headquarters located in Georgetown. J. Mark Goode, President,
hosted the gala opening ceremony and reception on December 2,
2004. Invited guests included representatives from the finance,
business, and government communities.
“Secondary Life Capital

market for life insurance, in calling Washington, DC their home”,
said Goode. “Our Nation’s Capital is becoming a major hub for
one of the fastest growing sectors of the worldwide financial
services industry and we are pleased to be a part of it.” It is
estimated that $4-5 billion face value of in-force life insurance
policies will be purchased in the secondary market in 2005.
During
the coming year, Secondary Life Capital expects to deploy $60-120
million of institutional capital in the secondary market for life
insurance. Goode states, “the life settlement marketplace is finding
growing support from established institutional investors, domestically
and abroad.” To accommodate the increasing transaction volume,
Secondary Life Capital expects to increase their staff with up
to seven members in the next few months.
Secondary Life Capital
